Alright so this is my last and riskiest project as it is my first attempt at the animation style, which I feel I'm kindof struggling with, I'm not really sure which direction to go in. But anyways, the story is about being too serious and how that can make the things we love not fun anymore and hurt people who are close to us. So yeah I'm trying to keep the story really simple on this one. I'll have maybe his staff, his pet who is always trying to make him happier, and environment, like his wizard hut or something. What do you guys think?
These guys are too good, I like how shape oriented each one is. The second line drawing is badass.

ReplyDeleteI guess it all depends on the type of character you're going for. I get a little "Gandalf the White" from a few of these, and other seem more studious and playful.
ReplyDeleteYeah I still am not too sure, I like the epic beard ones because that's a statement about how he views his work and what drives the seriousness. But I feel I could push harder for a better visual metaphor, I'm gonna wait to post more stuff because my trial for Photoshop ran out and I'm in the process of figuring that out
