These are some of the ship designs I've been working on. The direction is going more into the whole triangle feel Kindof like the prison designs that didn't get used. Story behind the ones with the rocks is that it's the same stuff from the floating prison and the engine uses a containment field to harness and amplify their power to run the ship. They use it as a getaway after they destroy the prison. But what do you guys think? And I gotta say, constructing equilateral triangles in perspective is a bitch.
Can't go wrong with triangles! I love the simplicity of shape, yet intricacy of detail. With the first ship, you really get a sense of speed and power, while the other two look slightly more cumbersome, like transport or cargo ship. These are tons of fun to look at, and my only tiny critique would be to indicate scale, which could be easily done by placing the ship in an environment or showing a figure next to it. I really like that first one though.
ReplyDeleteyeah that makes sense, Ive been having trouble keeping the style coming through with the hard surface stuff, ill probably do a couple more of these. but hey, hows your dino tiger stuff going?
ReplyDeletewoah, that was me dont worry
ReplyDeleteComing along slowly but surely! I've made a calendar for deadlines and when I should finish stuff, so hopefully I'll have everything done when it needs to be. I'll post some works soon.
