Ehh
Below is probably some of the last work I'll do for this character, from this point it's finishing him up in photoshop by either editing the marker version or doing a digital render. I'm bummed to say that because of my poor use of time and various complications, I probably won't be submitting in the Spring and will probably aim for Fall of '14. Really sucks, but unless I want to scrounge my previous project and add various works and a sketchbook, I won't have this most recent story done by Feb 1 for submittal.

Blood Brothers dump
So this is most of it, I want to do more environment sketches/vehicle sketches and I havent done any of the finals but i thought i should post everything real quick.
The hunter
Here's a quick post with some recent work for the hunter in my dinotiger story. I've been pretty bogged down from schoolwork, so once winter break rolls around, I'll have a lot more work to share. These sketches are pretty basic and I hope to include a bunch more story moments, sort of like what is seen in the last drawing with the hunter cradling the cub. For the design, rather than making the dude seem like a cold, heartless military-type, I wanted to inject some life and culture by making the hunter a Hispanic man with ethnic background; the type of guy who was raised to hunt not for sport, but rather for survival (which is not the case in his hunt for the plated tiger). Crits are welcome, amigos.

Ships
These are some of the ship designs I've been working on. The direction is going more into the whole triangle feel Kindof like the prison designs that didn't get used. Story behind the ones with the rocks is that it's the same stuff from the floating prison and the engine uses a containment field to harness and amplify their power to run the ship. They use it as a getaway after they destroy the prison. But what do you guys think? And I gotta say, constructing equilateral triangles in perspective is a bitch.

Unconventional Start
Time is whizzing by and I'm feelin' a little rushed. I'm starting with the rifle design first, so by the time I develop the hunter's look, I won't have to worry about drawing a random gun in his hand... This is probably the extent of the sketches I'll do before I narrow them down and begin perspective drawings. I tried to go for more of a slim, lightweight, possibly collapsable design for this guy out in the field. Red dot marks my favorites. I'd love any critiques, feel free to tear my work apart or give any suggestions as to what you like or how I could improve. Thanks guys.
